Seven Year Old Alexis Goggins Shot Six Times Protecting Her Mother

A young gilrs of 7 years of age is being called an “angel from heaven” for throwing herself in front of an armed man, who shot 6 bullets into her as she protected her mother.

Alexis Goggins, a 1st grader at School, who had dressed up for school plays in a pirate costume is on life support at in a Detroit hospital after being wounded wounded in her eye, temple, cheek, chest and arm.

Aisha Ford, a friend for fifteen years who was also at the scene of the shooting calls her an angel.

Selietha Parker, the mother, was shot in her head and her arm by a boyfriend. The man’s gun was removed by police who then arrested him. He has been identified as Calvin Tillie, a 4 time convicted criminal whom Selietha Parker had been dating for 6 months.

The family friend Ford, had dialed 911 as she walked into the police station.“On my first call I was disconnected and I had to dial again. I told the operator a man holding a firearm was holding me with a mother and daughter and saying he was going to kill all of us. I gave the name of the petrol station and then she then told me they did not have a car in the area to help out.” So Ford bought $5 of gas and carefully went back to the car, and handed Tillie the money. She had to keep stopping and starting the gas pump and praying police officers would turn up.

“I said I needed more petrol and took some dollars out of my purse and walked back into the gas station,” she said. The attendant said he saw Ford crying and she explained him what was going on. So he punched 911 into his phone when he heard shots from the car.

Alghazali noted a police car arrived on a street close by in less than 60 seconds after his call.

News on her condition here. a fund has been set up for Alexis, and cheques can be made payable to the Goggins Fund.

More info : Alexis is a child needing special care, because of a massive stroke she had in her younger years.

She walks with a limp, slipped momentarily on the ice and as she helped the girl stand up, saw the accused and recognized him. He had a gun in his hand.

Before he could shoot again, Alexis had jumped over her mother in front of the gunman and pleaded with him not to fire the weapon.

Tillie however fired 6 shots into the girl.

i don’t have to tell you why this is a human rights (as well as police brutality) issue do i?
